Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Elite Quotient (EQ)?
The EQ is our proprietary rating system for youth soccer teams (U8-U18). It uses a goal-differential weighted Elo algorithm (K=40 base) where bigger wins create bigger rating swings (up to 1.9x for blowouts), plus a 1.5x upset bonus for beating higher-ranked opponents. The result is a dynamic, responsive ranking that rewards dominant performances.
How often are rankings updated?
Rankings are updated on a weekly cycle. New data is pulled every Monday from GotSport and reviewed by our team. Updated rankings go live every Tuesday at 7:00 AM PST / 10:00 AM EST. You'll see the current rankings week displayed at the top of the Rankings tab in the app.
My team isn't listed. How do I add them?
If your team isn't in our database yet, you can submit a GotSoccer tournament link from the Tournament Tracker within the app. Once we process the tournament, all participating teams and their results will be added to the rankings.
What does EliteRank Pro include?
Pro unlocks the Match Predictor (AI-powered game simulations), Compare-a-Team radar charts, team DNA analysis, full match history, tournament simulator, and the ability to follow unlimited teams. It starts with a free 7-day trial, then $9.99/month.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. On iOS, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → EliteRank and tap Cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore a previous purchase?
Open the app, go to the Upgrade tab, and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom of the screen. This will sync your subscription status with the App Store.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to the Pro tab, scroll down to "Privacy Center," and tap "Permanent Delete." This will erase all your data including favorites, notification preferences, and account information.
Which age groups and regions are supported?
We currently support U8 through U18 age groups for both Boys and Girls divisions. Rankings are available at both the National level and by State, with a focus on Southern California clubs.
